Bob’s Obituary
Robert Gabriel (Bob) Lefebvre, long time resident of Peace River, passed away on August 26th in Peace River, at the age of 85 years. Bob was born on August 4, 1934, at Edmonton, Alberta. Bob contributed countless volunteer hours to the community with the Catholic Board of Education, the Knights of Columbus, Air Cadets and the MS Society. He was an avid curler, golfer and fisherman. He was predeceased by the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Marion, and is survived by five children: Dana(Roger), Diane(Craig), Bobby (Mel), Joan( Randy), and Danny(Lisa); 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Louise Davis, Jeanne (Wally) Brauer, and brother-in-law, Clyde Crowe.
A Memorial Service for the late Bob Lefebvre will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 3 PM from Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Nel officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Chapel Of Memories Funeral Homes Peace River. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to STARS Air Ambulance.
