Anna’s heartbroken family announces her death on Tuesday, August 13th, 2019 at 6:20pm at St. John’s Hospice in Vancouver. Anna was born on June 13th, 1955 in Montreal to Julius and Marion Scharing (nee Lusk). Anna will be forever loved by her late husband Kevin, her daughter Caroline (David), son Michael (Alicia) and four beloved grandchildren Lucia, Mateo, Ellen and Joseph. She will also be missed by her sister Barbara, brothers- in-law Frank (Diane), Leo and Gary, her sister-in-law Colleen (Sean) nieces and nephews Sandra, David, Thomas, Laura, Kathleen and Jessica, and her cherished pets Evie, Alfie and Milo. Among many other things, we will miss her sense of humour and her creativity. She could make anything from a complicated quilt to clothing, furniture and intricate wall clocks, to paintings and bread from scratch. Having so many interests and talents she was a fountain of knowledge. Anna was very caring and self less. She always put her family first. She will be forever loved and remembered. A private memorial will be held.
