Memorial Donation
It is with great sadness that the family of late Tryphenia Lomond announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick hospital in Stephenville on Sunday July 28th 2019 at the age of 87 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children David (Shirley) Lomond in Stephenville, Marjorie (Wilbert) Fizzard in Marystown, Hilda Lomond in Halifax, Linda (Jerry) Rotchford in Stephenville and Caren (Wayne) Noseworthy in Kippens. Also leaving to mourn her ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren , her brother Edgar White in Codroy Valley, her sisters Ida Cormier in Stephenville, Eileen (John) Ingram in Ontario , Georgina Buckle in Port aux Basques and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Cora May and John White, her son Anthony Richard Lomond, her husband Solomon Lomond, her grandson Norman Swyers and her sister Joyce Lomond . Visitation will take place from Russell’s Funeral Home on Tuesday July 30th from 4-9 p.m. The funeral will take place from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church on Wednesday July 31st at 2 p.m. with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery on the Hansen Highway. As expressions of sympathy , donations may be made to Bay St. George Sick Kids Foundation, Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation or to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for the excellent care and compassion given to their mom during her stay.
