The passing of Susan “Sue” Marlene Ward of Fredericton, NB, wife of John A. Ward occurred on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
Born on September 10, 1951 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Christelle (Harris) Gamblin. Sue was a school bus driver in the Fredericton and Stanley areas. She was an avid fiddler.

Besides her husband, Sue is survived by her son, Cory Grattan (Tracey), Douglas, NB; stepsons, Chris Ward (Jody), ON and Jason Ward (Angela), NS; grandchildren, Tyler Grattan and Joshua Ward;
sisters, Debbie Smith (Doug); Isabelle Gamblin (Jeff Parsons) and Dena Correy (Johnny); special cousin, Dixie Carr; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson, Brady Grattan.

A Celebration of Life Reception will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 2-4 pm.

The family would like to share a special thanks to Nurse Melisa, for her wonderful care.
