It is with great sadness that the family of Stephanie Ridley announces her passing. She passed away peacefully at home, in Fonthill on July 4, 2019, at the age of 68 years. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through her courageous cancer journey. Stephanie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Dennis and her children Marcia, Neal (Melissa) and Vaughn (Sinead). Stephanie will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Lochlan, Kian, Erin and Finn.
The family would like to thank the Welland Palliative Care Team – Dr. Deborah Dooler, Sue, Colleen, Trina and Joclyn.Thank you to Dr. O. Levine, Diane, Dr. Hann and all of the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre – Hamilton.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday August 3, 2019 at 1:30 pm, at Rice Road Community Church, 305 Rice Road, Welland, ON. Light refreshments to follow. Stephanie has requested please wear colours, no black!
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in the memory of Stephanie to the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton or Welland Palliative Care Team.
