On Sunday July 28, we lost our Mom, our best friend. She passed away peacefully and with grace after living with cancer for 3 years.
Her greatest love in life was her family. She was very proud of her four grandchildren and their spouses; Brittney (Tommy), Owen (Carissa), Kacey (Ian), and Evan (Fawn), and absolutely thrilled to have five great-grandchildren; Mason, Addison, Ryker, Arkana and Wyatt. We all loved you Mom, Nanny, GG.
Mom
You were there when we took our first breath. You showed us how to love, be a family and a friend. You said you were proud of us, well we were proud to call you our Mom & Nanny. You said I love you so easily. We find it so hard to say goodbye, but you will live on forever in our heats. Love Denise & Robyn
Thank you to all the nurses and care aids who took great care of our Mom at Cottonwoods Rehab and the Village at Smith Creek. Special thank you to RN Shelley who shared a very special bond with our Mom. Heartfelt thank you to Dr. Maroney for all your loving care and Dr. Sara Taylor, BC Cancer Agency, for our special visits to see you. Thank you to all her friends and family who visited her along this journey. You were all very special to her.
At her request, there will be no service, just a family reunion.
