Obituary for Ron Oakley
Ron Oakley, of Petrolia, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Thursday, July 11, 2019, in his 72rd year. Ron was predeceased by his parents Francis and Ellen Oakley and is survived by his brother Cary. Born of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Ron worked in the coal mines in Cape Breton and later worked at Shell and Suncor before his retirement. A private service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Josephs’ Hospice Sarnia or the Lung Association.
