Peterson, Robert Grant, 72, Pembroke, passed away July 20,2019 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Yarmouth, June 3, 1947 he was a son to the late Shurburne and Joan (Jefford) Peterson. Robert was an RCW and worked at Harbourside Lodge for 31 years. He was a wood master and could create anything with wood. He was a 4H leader for many years and enjoyed his Wednesday nights with the boys playing cards. He is survived by his loving wife Marion Deveau; children Julie Peterson, South Korea; Carrie (Lyndon) Allen, Kemptville; Aldena (Dereck) Deveau, Beaver bank; Troy (Joanne) Nickerson, Musquidobit Harbour; brothers John Peterson, Ontario; Barry Peterson, NFLD; Mike (Darlene), BC; sisters Maureen (Neil) Durkee, Yarmouth; Anne (Morton) Cunningham, Chebogue; grandchildren and his pride and joy , Maryssa, Noah, Jayden, Lauren and Christopher. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister Linda Gray. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. There will be a Celebration of Roberts life, Wednesday, July 24th,2019 at 2pm. from the Cranberry Head Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
