Obituary of Rev. Charles Lavender Somerville
SOMERVILLE, Rev. Charles Lavender – of Belleville, entered into rest on Sunday, July 14th, 2019, at QHC-Trenton Memorial Hospital, at the age of 86. Son of the late Charles & Myrtle Somerville. Beloved husband of the late Pearl Anne Somerville (nee Porter), for 60 years. Loving father of Steve (Elizabeth), Rex (Angela), Bill (Kandice), Sandra Hartin (John), Bruce (Linda), Robbie (Cindy) and Marjorie Konning (John). Also lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dearly missed by spiritual son, Bob Deline. Dear brother of, (Late) Dorothy, Marjorie Collis of Toronto and (Late) May. Also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Christian Fellowship Church, 333 Church Street, Belleville, on Thursday, July 18th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with service following at 12:00 p.m. Interment to immediately follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Frankford. Reception and fellowship at the church afterwards. If desired, donations to the Christian Fellowship Church would be appreciated by the family.
