BROWN, Norma Evelyn (née Hodgson)
The family announces with sorrow her peaceful passing at home in her sleep on Monday, July 8, 2019 in her 94th year.
Daughter of the late Gilfrid Hodgson and the late Emily Richards. She was proud of her western roots, being raised in Manitoba before moving to Ontario in her teens.
Loving mother of Carolyn Larocque (Mike), Kathryn Meyer (Werner), and Lynda Paleshnuik. Dear grandmother of Mitch (Julie), Christopher (Georgie), Emily (John), Daniel and Julia (Jean Marc), three great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Norma was an avid metal detector and lifetime member of the Northern Ontario Relic and Treasure Hunters.
The family wishes to thank Dr. De Blacam and the staff at Lasalle Residence and the CCAC for the excellent care they provided to our mother.
A small family service was held. Arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
