It is with great sadness that the family of Buffalo announces his passing after a valiant and dignified battle with cancer, on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the age of 53, at Portage General Hospital. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Dwayne (Marina), Patricia, Norbert Jr (Blossom), Samantha, his mother Marybelle, his sisters Shanny, Sharon (Michael), brothers Ernest (Lorraine), Floyd and Felix.
He will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Xiomara, Urijah, Hunter and Jaxton; his uncles Tommy, Ronnie (Evelyn), Andrew (Alice), Abby (Val), Ben (Pam); his aunt Sissy; nephew Larry and numerous cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister Samantha; his granddaughter Cherish, stepdad Oscar, his grandparents Allan, Ben and Elsie; aunts Rosebetty, Patsy and Isabel; uncles Roy and Wallis.
Never will you meet a man who so faithfully loved his children and grandchildren. He was strong in body, spirit and commitment to his family and friends. His faithfulness to the important people in his life could be seen in the way he steadfastly maintained ties with his family and friends. He maintained a great relationship with the mother of his children, Teresa.
Pallbearers Dwayne Benson, Norbert Jr Richard, Larry Richard, Benjamin Kirby, Ronnie Desmerais and Kevin Wey.
A luncheon will follow at Amaranth Hall.
