Nita Jacqueline (Jackie) Sproull
1964-2019
The family of Jackie Sproull of Upper Hainesville, NB is saddened to
announce her passing from cancer at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital
on Friday, July 12 at the age of 55. Born in Fredericton, she was
the youngest child of Cecil and Bessie (Wallace) Sproull of Upper
Hainesville. She is survived by her son Chris Ingraham, grandson
Colton Ingraham, Chris’s father Andy Ingraham, siblings Grace
Pike (Waldo) of Temperance Vale, Swana Scott (David), Wilma Gilchrist
(Ian), and Melbourne Sproull (Dale) all of Fredericton, several
cousins, nieces and nephews and an aunt, Doreen Wallace.
Jackie was predeceased by her father Cecil Sproull in 2001, her mother
Bessie Sproull Scott in 2014, and step father Cyril Scott in 2009.
Jackie enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, family gatherings, and loved
horses. She was active in the Upper Hainesville Community Hall, was a
member of the North York Regional Fire Department, and a member of the
Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church. She was deeply loved by her family and
had many friends who will remember her fondly. She was a hard-working
and dedicated employee. She had been employed at Percy Jones &
Sons Ltd., Royal Road, Fredericton for 13 years.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive,
Nackawic, NB on Tuesday evening, July 16, 2019, from 7 to 9 pm. A
visitation also will be held at the Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church, 1125
Route 605, Maple Ridge, NB on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, from 1 to 2
pm, when the funeral service will be held with Rev. Mike Agrell
officiating. A reception will follow at the church fellowship room.
Interment will be at Ridgeview Cemetery on the Caverhill Road. For
those who wish to make a donation in memory of Jackie, the family
suggests the North York Volunteer Fire Department, the Maple Ridge
Wesleyan Church, or the Ridgeview Cemetery.
