Michael Douglas Seely 2019 avis de deces

Michael Douglas Seely
April 21, 1952 – July 27, 2019

Tim Hortons lost a loyal customer and we all lost our Super Hero on July 27, 2019 .
Michael Douglas Seely, born April 21, 1952 died after a long battle with cancer that he took in stride determined to win the battle and was so successful for the most part.
Michael was often sitting in oncology hooked up to bags of chemo and receiving blood transfusions and encouraging other patients at the same time.
His positive attitude his strength and his bravery amazed us all including his doctors. Nobody will ever know how really tough it was for him but that is just Michael’s way.
Michael was famous for his tough exterior, his quiet sense of humor and a touch of sarcasm that always came out of nowhere and often unexpected.
He had no patience for people who did annoying things and was never shy about letting them know.
As Pat would say he was not always politically correct.
People blocking aisles with grocery carts and conversations in doorways nearly drove him over the edge.
He was a talented screen printer for 37 years with Universal Signs and then Coastal Graphics a job he loved and he was one of the best.
Michael took pride in his work and was proud of the product that he produced.
He proudly wore his toque given to him by Coastal Graphics with Print King embroidered on it.
Michael loved his friends and was so appreciative of all they did for him during his illness.
Every spring the count down to the campground opening was anticipated as it was his happy place, even before he became ill camping with friends was one of the things he enjoyed the most. Especially after he started treatment when he was so sick and worked so hard at not letting others know how sick he was, he always felt better at the campground.
Michael was not ready to die and expressed his concerns about this to some

of his closest friends, he was always in fear of being forgotten.
Since we were in need of a street name for our street at the campground it was an easy decision to name the street for him (Michael’s Way) so he would know that our friends would never forget him or his way.
This touched his heart so much (tears that day) to think that they cared and loved him enough to do such an awesome thing for him.
The other side of Michael was the side that made me fall in love (the soft side), the side he rarely let others see.
He loved me like I have never been loved before, we often joked about his big heart as he actually had an enlarged heart as he suffered from Heart failure for 20 plus years. Michael was a very generous man and would have given anyone who needed it the shirt off his back.
He always wanted me to have everything and often would randomly surprise me with flowers or gifts.
When we met we met online when online dating was new, he actually bought a computer and taught himself how to use it so he could find someone to love.
Michael did not know what he was getting into when he asked me to marry him a bachelor and all of a sudden he had two kids, Brandon, Danielle and a wild cat named Tanner who was with us for 15 years.
Boy did his life change….lol
Soon to follow was our granddaughter princess Sadie who he absolutely adored and loved it was so sweet watching him and her grow together a man who had never been around children now has this little one who lovingly calls him Papa (and sometimes Superman even before we knew that he was really a superhero) and gives the best hugs and snuggles.
A few years later we were blessed with more grandchildren Kayla and Sean our grandchildren chosen by our son to join our family, more precious children for us to love.
Just when he was settling into being a Papa we once again added to the family with the birth of our precious twins, Fionn & Maddie he had so much fun watching them grow into their own little personalities.
Michael having grown up in a very small family and a quiet household was

sometimes overwhelmed with them all.
We had settled into this is it, no more grandchildren when we are blessed with our little fire cracker Hadley, although she looks like a princess she is far from it so full of spirit and mischief ….lol.
This little one was not long deciding that Papa was her favourite as soon as she could crawl she was on his knee hugging and kissing him.
As she learned to talk there were daily phone calls and video chats that always started out hi Mammie can I talk to Papa, and where is Buddy? Speaking of Buddy the newest edition to our family, one of the best decisions we ever made.
After Michael’s diagnosis and his surgery he could no longer work and was struggling at being home alone all day. We decided that we would get a dog for company for him, our little two pound Havanese who we named Buddy was not long becoming the boss of our home. Even as a little baby he knew when Michael was having his worst days and did not feel well and would not leave his side.
Every day he watched over him and did not let him out of his sight, even escorting him to the bathroom and to bed at night.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Peggy Ross-Seely and his stepchildren Brandon Flagg and Danielle Flagg both of Fredericton.
Six precious grandchildren Kayla, Sean, Sadie, Fionn, Maddie and Hadley.
Also two nephews Shawn Carr (Amy) and Christopher Carr (Jamie).
Michael was predeceased by his mom, June Seely (Mcminnam) when he was only 25 years old, she loved him dearly and he missed her so much.
He was also predeceased by his dad Douglas Seely and his only sister who meant the world to him Lynn Carr (Seely).
On a last but serious note, the man who loved life, his family, his friends, his cars and his motorcycles does not want any of you to ever forget him. I will miss him so much as will many others, rest in peace my sweet Michael, I will always love you more!
