It is with great sadness that we announce that on June 13th 2019, Marlyn lost her 5 year battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones. During this time Marlyn’s strength, courage, positive attitude and perseverance exemplified how she lived her everyday life.
Born on November 19th, 1938, she was the only child of Christina Nixon (nee Lothian) and Eric Douglas Jones. Marlyn is survived by her former husband and good friend Walter Petruniak, two daughters, Lynnan Morgan (Paul), Melissa Hansen (Jimi) and her two sons Doug Daniels and Bryan Petruniak (Maria Nap).
Marlyn will be greatly missed by her 13 grandchildren, Kenny, Kevin (predeceased), Jacqueline, Matthew, Cheyenne, Kaylee, Caiden, Carter, Cooper, Alicia, Abigail, Shaelynn and Sabrina and her three great grand children, Noah, Jordan and Ryan. And of course her beloved dog, Buddy.
Anyone that knew Marlyn knows how important her family was to her. Her children and grandchildren brought her great pride and joy. She always took the opportunity to brag about them and her walls were filled from floor to ceiling with their pictures and artwork. She never missed an opportunity to watch her grandchildren play their extra curricular sporting activities or support them at their school events. She was their greatest cheerleader and could always be heard in the stands.
She will be greatly missed, never replaced and always loved.
❤ Love you Mom, Nanie and Gigi ❤
