Being a RCAF bride, she traveled extensively in Canada, having her children across three provinces. Once outside the Air Force, the family returned to Saskatchewan and she resumed her nursing career. She was an accomplished pianist and used her skills often in the churches she attended.
She was also very well known for her cooking and baking skills. In particular, keeping alive the many Scandinavian Christmas traditions, especially potatis and lefse.
She traveled extensively before succumbing to dementia which kept her confines in her last years in a nursing home. She maintained a strong Christian faith throughout her life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
