Sadly, Jack Watson was taken by cancer at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital
July 2, 2019. Born in Ontario, in 1943. John Paul, wife Julie and son
John chose Prince Edward Island as home in 1976. Here he worked as a
farrier, mechanic, and for Parks Canada. Jack strived to maintain
links with family and friends as he travelled through life. His
passion for experiencing the world was avidly pursued through
horseback riding, motorcycling, camping and golf. The couple explored
North America by auto, motorcycle and motorhome. His “bucket
list” was long and happily he checked off many aspirations.
Predeceased by siblings Patricia, Sue, George, and parents Reita
McMeekin and Jack Lucas. Loved and remembered by wife, Julie of
Charlottetown; son, John and daughter-in-law, Chrissy of Vancouver,
BC. No visitations or funeral service. If desired, donations can be
made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and/or the Cancer Treatment
Centre in his memory. Special thanks to the medical community that
served him so well.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Jack Watson 19422019..
