Obituary of Hilda Lees
Lees, Hilda (nee Carley)
A resident of Chatham, Hilda passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Riverview Gardens at the age of 77.
Hilda was born in Wallaceburg and was the daughter of the late Harold Carley and Vernetta
(nee Turner) Zander.
Beloved wife and friend of over 40 years to the late Harold (Al/Sonny) Lees (2010).
Loving mother of Michelle Authier & Paul Laprise- Haslip of Pain Court, and Rob & Jennifer Authier of London. Two very special nieces, Kim Gordon of Glencoe and Roberta Lachine of Chatham, considered as another daughter. Dear stepmother of Dawn Lees & Ed Cole of Keswick, John Lees of Toronto, and Carl Lees of Keswick.
Proud grandmother of Jeremy Lees of Tecumseh. Sadly missed by many grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother- in- law and sister- in- law, Lynn & Victor Barnes of Chatham.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially Aaron, Darcy and Tyler.
Predeceased by brothers, Ron Carley, Bill Carley, and a sister Jill Misener.
Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will take place at Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
Donations in memory of Hilda to the Canadian Cancer Society or the PAWR would be appreciated.
The family would also like to thank the staff at Riverview Gardens for their kind and loving care.
