It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francis McAdam, late of Big River First Nation, SK, on July 14, 2019 at the age of 83 years. Francis was born on December 21, 1935 in Big River, SK to parents: Albert and Alice (nee Saysewahum) McAdam.
Francis is survived by his children: Doris McAdam, Agnes McAdam, Corrine McAdam, Sylvia McAdam, Arnold McAdam, Dion McAdam, Kurtis McAdam and Anthony (Ramone) McAdam; his adopted children: Lloyd (Beverly) Jackson, Marie (Dave) Rosi, Gerald (Marie) McAdam, Charlene (Jett) Gardiner, Charlotte (Brian) Lewis and Herbie (Samantha) McAdam; his siblings: Flora Walker, Mary Speers, Irene (Jim) Martel, Julie Kemp, Matilda (Douglas) McAdam; his 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family.
Francis is predeceased by his wife: Juliette McAdam; his parents: Albert and Alice McAdam; his in-laws: Tom and Mary Whitefish; his daughter: Rose Kellington; his sons: Raymond McAdam, Darryl McAdam and Sterling McAdam; his grandchildren: Nathan McAdam, Clayton J McAdam, Francis (Guy) McAdam and Gregory Kahpeey Sewat; his brother: Frank McAdam; and his sister: Roselie McAdam.
A Wake Service for Francis will be held on Monday July 15, 2019 at 5:00PM located at the Big River First Nation Band Hall in Big River First Nation, SK. A Funeral Service will then take place on Wednesday July 17, 2019 at 1:00PM at the Big River First Nation Band Hall in Big River First Nation, SK. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Big River First Nation, SK. Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium.
