Obituary of Ella Mae Brown
Brown, Ella Mae of Aylmer Retirement Home and formerly a longtime resident of R.R.4, Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Arthur Brown(2015). Dear mother of David Brown of Springfield and Darlene Johnson(Dean) of RR4, Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Ryan and Tyler(Sam). Sister of Jean Nicholson(Bob). Sister-in-law of Marg Rodgers, Phyllis Howey(Gerald), Doreen Ward(Jim), Harold Brown(Shirley), Fred Brown(Cathy), Sharon Brown and Phillip Holmes. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Earl Rodgers(2011) and a sister-in-law Bonnie Holmes(1991). Born in St. Thomas on January 1, 1940, daughter of the late Marvin and Sarah (Corbett) Rodgers. Ella Mae was a member of Terrace Lodge Aux., St. John’s United Church, Springfield and a driver with Meals on Wheels. Ella Mae’s greatest joy was her family and friends. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment, Springfield Cemetery.
