Elaine Cesaroni
St. Margaret’s Village
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Elaine Cesaroni who left us on July 24 2019.
Elaine was born in Toronto on July 20th,1951 but also resided in other areas such as California and Montreal during her upbringing until moving to St. Margaret’s Village in 1981 with her husband and 3 children.
She showed amazing love, strength and courage through out her life, especially over the last two and a half years with the loss of her husband (our Father, Umberto Cesaroni) who she loved unconditionally and she also battled cancer three times during this period. She devoted her adult life taking care of our Father through his long battle with MS and other ailments. She fought so hard and showed us all the strength and courage she had to live life and fight each battle that came her way, but sadly her last battle with cancer took her from us.
Our Mother loved her family unconditionally and her last wish was for us all to be there together with her and we all did so and stood by her side until she took her final breath at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
God took her back home to give her, her angel wings and take away all her pain and suffering and to reunite with her forever love our dad Bert Cesaroni.
We all have so many beautiful memories that we will never forget and will treasure forever.
We all loved her Christmas tradition that we all chose to continue which has even been passed on and continued by her grandchildren. We all had our lasagna competitions trying to out beat moms but we could never compare to hers and it was a dish her Grandchildren could not get enough of. Mom loved taking pictures even the ones you wouldn’t want others to see, they were always her favourite to take and share. She loved looking into the ancestry of the family and collecting old family photos and throughout her adult life she would rarely miss an episode of her favorite show, General Hospital.
Elaine was the eldest of her three siblings from her predeceased Father, Robert Kingsley and leaves behind her loving Mother Catherine Kingsley, and her brothers Doug (Verna ) Kingsley & Randy Kingsley, she also leaves behind her three children that she loved dearly Catherine (Simon) Bonnar, Carolyn (Allan) Mackinnon and Shane Cesaroni.
She also leaves behind her 7 grandchildren Victoria Lussier (Daniel), Vanessa Bonnar (Barret), William Bonnar (Brandi) Cassandra Mackinnon, Catryna Mackinnon, Cameron Mackinnon (Braxton) and Vienna Cesaroni, also her 5 great grand children Braxton Lussier, Arianna Lussier, Eliza Mac Dougall, Allister Fraser and Paisley Bonnar.
Elaine truly loved each and every one of her family beyond words and was very well known and loved by all the people she encountered in her life. Her family will forever miss her and treasure all the moments and memories we shared with her; she will also be greatly missed by the community she resided in.
A Funeral service for both of our parents cremated remains will be held in late August with the date to be announced at a later time. Fly high Mom, until we all meet again, we love and miss you.
