Service Details
Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell passed away at the Sunset Haven, Carnduff, on Monday, July 29, 2019 at the age of 105.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sam; son, Harry; parents, Harry and Mary (Quail) Taylor; seven siblings: Herbert Taylor, Florence (Oliver) Farr, Isabel (Gordon) Reid, Irene (Stewart) Smith, Frank Taylor, Edna Wagner (Sam Dill) (Earl Wagner), and William Taylor.
Dorothy is survived by her two foster sons, Dwight and Duain; brother Ernie Taylor; also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A public graveside service will be held at the Oxbow Cemetery, Oxbow, SK. on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm followed by a public funeral service at the Glen Ewen Gospel Hall, Glen Ewen, SK. at 2:00 pm. Mr. Randy Logue will preside. Following the funeral service a luncheon will be served in the Gospel Hall for family and friends. All are welcome to attend.
Donations may be given to the “New Kitchen Fund” c/o Sunset Haven Nursing Home, Box 250 Carnduff, SK. S0C 0S0 or to the charity of your choice.
