Carmela Rita “Anna” Tarsitano
After a brief battle with cancer, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Osvaldo. Loving mother of Emilio (Vittoria), Connie and Maria (Anthony) Leone. Devoted Nonna to Ashley, Alexander, Eric, Sabrina, Anthony and Elisabeth. Dear sister of Mario (Eleonora) D’Acri and the late Raffaele (Maria) D’Acri and Franco (Elisa) D’Acri. She will be forever loved her extended family and friends. A special thank you to the staff on C Wing for their outstanding care of Anna.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Westminster Mausoleum. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Odette Centre C/O Sunnybrook Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
