Obituary of Arlie Smith
SMITH, Arlie – It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of our cherished mom, nana and great nana who passed away after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s
Arlie lost the love of her life Bill in 2003. She will be deeply missed by her family Sharon Rawlins, Cindy and Geoff Siddall, Julie and Marc Siba, Michael and Vincenza Smith, Melissa and Sarah, Meaghan, Tim, Jackson and Kennedy, Alicia and Lake, Miranda, Cory and Sawyer, Dylan and Sarah, Nicholas, Carlie and Greg, Julia and Jonathan.
She and her husband were born and raised in Hamilton and moved to Port Colborne to buy the Dukes Hotel followed by the King Street car wash where Arlie’s florist came to be.
She was passionate about her flower shop and a friend to everyone that walked through the door.
Arlie loved riding on the back of their Goldwing motorcycle and went on many great road trips with her sister Karen and brother in law George Samuel.
Her true love was her family and having gatherings every Sunday around the dining room table. She was our memory maker and we will treasure those special times forever.
Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday July 18 from 5-7 p.m. at Davidsons Funeral Home 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne. Memorial service to follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences and guest register available at www.davidsonfuneralhome.com
