Alex, better known as Scotty, passed away peacefully in his sleep July 22, 2019. He was born to Andrew and Elizabeth Kernaghan into a family of 5.
Scotty (Alex) came to Canada by boat in the 1960’s, working in many trades throughout the years. Scotty was predeceased by his parents, siblings Andrew and Katherine, son David and daughter Melissa. He is survived by his loving wife, Laurie; children Amanda (Brian), Graham (Kourtney); grandchildren Carter and Watson Kernaghan, Wyatt, Hunter, Harper, and Ryder Doolittle, as well as sister-in-law Jean Kernaghan, Lachlan Kernaghan, Joan McKinnon and Dona Klaiber.
Scotty was a loving husband, father, and Papa and will be missed.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 3, 2019 at 1:00pm at 910 Railway, Cayley, AB for refreshments.
