Steven George Fraser 1956 2019

Obituary of Steven George Fraser
Passed away at Case Manor on June 28, 2019 at the age of 62, peacefully with his wife by his side.
Steve lived his life with vigour and joy, love and laughter. Despite being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at a very young age (56), Steve met the challenge with grace and courage, choosing to make the most of each day that followed. The next seven years were challenging, but beautiful. His journey has now ended, and his confusion and pain are over. He is with God.
Beloved husband of Alida “Lidy” Fraser (nee Budding), loving father of Stefanie (Sean) and Elyse (Sean), and dearly missed by nephew Doug Rublee (Tanya). Steve is predeceased by his parents Gordon and Jean Fraser. Cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL, Bobcaygeon. A Celebration of Steve’s Life will take place on Saturday July 13, 2019 at Trinity-Providence United Church, 44 William St. Bobcaygeon at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario by visiting or by calling 705-738-3222.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Case Manor for their care and compassion, as well as to the many people who leant their support over the last seven years.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Steven
