Stephen Samuel Wednesday June 26th 2019

Stephen Plathanethu Samuel, was born to Rev. P. M. and Mrs. Mary Samuel, on September 1, 1942, in Andhra Pradesh, India. He grew up in Vijayawada, India, alongside his three brothers, Matthew, Abraham, and Johnny and two sisters, Glory and Esther. He studied at a postsecondary school for photography in Germany. He got married to Kunjunjamma (Molly) and later moved to Canada with her in 1967. He is the father to three children: Jenny (married to Stéphane), Jasmine (married to David), and Josh (married to Joyce), and grandfather to six grandchildren: Krystal, Julia, Daniel, Josiah, Jeremiah, and Joanna. On June 26, 2019, he passed away due to complications related to lung cancer. He passed away peacefully while surrounded by family, who were praying and singing songs of worship to God. Stephen made a recommitment to follow Jesus Christ as His Lord and Saviour in 2007 and was changed ever since. Stephen is now with His Lord. He will always be remembered and missed by his family and friends.
