Obituary of Holly Lisa Andres
1965 – 2019
On June 21st at Ian Anderson House in Oakville, Holly Lisa Andres sadly passed away at the age of 54 after an eight-year battle with cancer. Beloved wife of John Andres. Loving mother to Kathryn and William Andres. Much-loved daughter of Shirley (nee Haas) Hunsberger. Dear Sister to Tim and Jeff Hunsberger. Predeceased by her father, Mahlon Hunsberger.
Holly (nee Hunsberger) worked at the Waterloo Reginal Credit Union until 1998 when she decided to stay home and raise her two children, whom she loved dearly. Later in life she worked part-time at McKenzie Smith Bennett Public School with special needs children and volunteered in their library. Holly had a love for photography, scrapbooking, film, and all things sci-fi.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Holly at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Friday July 5th from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, July 6th at 11 am. Immediately following the service, friends and relatives are invited to remain at the Funeral Home for refreshments and time to visit with the family. Cremation has taken place.
Condolences for the family or donations to Ian Anderson House made in Holly’s name would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
