Sister Hilda Gorman CSM
passed away at the Mount Continuing Care Community at the age of 90
years on Thursday, May 9, 2019 , after a long life of Love and Service
as a Sister of Saint Martha.
Born at Five Houses, St. Peters Bay , she is the daughter of
the late Leo and Anna (Cummings) Gorman and sister of Mary McInnis
(Howard), Betty Matys, Laura MacDonald (Joseph) deceased, Celestine,
Susanah, Bernadette (deceased), Sarah Cahill (Elliott) deceased, A.J.,
Elmer, and John deceased. Sister Hilda will also be fondly remembered
by her Martha sisters and her nieces and nephews.
Transferred from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown
Funeral Home to the Chapel of the Mount Continuing Care Community for
visiting hours on Sunday, May 12th from 2:00 to
5:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, May
13th from the Mount Continuing Care Community
Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Congregational
Cemetery.
Please note there will be no visiting hours the day of the
funeral.
