On May 22, 2019 Mrs. Wilma ton of Smoky Lake, Alberta, formerly of Regent & Stonewall, Manitoba, passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by 2 sons, Richard (Rosilind) of Deloraine, MB & Allan (Ramonalee) of Smoky Lake, AB; daughter-in-law, Diane of Stonewall, MB; 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Marcie), Katrina (Roy) Justus, Jerilyn (Shane) Potts, Jodi & Allison; 6 great-grandchildren, Darien, Daniella, Grayson, Silas, Novak & Xander; sister, Madge Halliday of Edmonton, AB; brother, Ted (Denise) Halliday of Abbotsford, BC; numerous nieces & nephews. Wilma was predeceased by her husband, Norman; son, Marty; brothers, Jim & Bill; sister, Blanche Brown; & her parents, William & Muriel Halliday. The family wishes to thank the staff of Smoky Lake Auxiliary, and Drs. Anton & Stephan Raubenheimer for the care & attention given to Wilma. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Manitoba, with inurnment in Rosewood Cemetery, Brandon, Manitoba. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ducks Unlimited Canada or the Humane Society of one’s choice c/o 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
