With an enormous sense duty and passion for adventure he enlisted in the RCAF in 1952 and began a 33year career, first as a drill instructor and later as an air traffic controller. His adventure took him from one end of our country to the other, from Canada to Europe and back again. After retiring from the RCAF in 1985 he continued to serve with the Canadian Corps of Commissioners until 2001.
He was the greatest of gentleman, the kindest of souls, and a light for all of us to follow.
