Rosaleen Shepherd
June 08, 1925 – May 12, 2019

Memorial Donation
Rosaleen Shepherd, wife of the late Desmond Shepherd, passed away peacefully in Oakville, Ontario on Sunday 12th May 2019.
Born on 8th June 1925 in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland, she lived most of her formative years in Dublin before moving to London, England where she met her husband Desmond.
A move to Canada in 1963, led them to Toronto, British Columbia, London, Mitchell and Niagara- on-the Lake Ontario, with Rosaleen eventually settling in Oakville after the death of Desmond in 1982.
A dedicated mother and devoted grandmother, Rosaleen’s outstanding sense of wit and humour, left an indelible impression on all her family and this, above all else, is what she will be most remembered for.
Rosaleen is survived by her three children, Kieran, Fiona and Evelyn, their partners, Jennifer, Conor and Robert and by her six grandchildren, Patrick, Sarah, Eva, Tom, Jennifer and Stephen and by Aurelia, her first great-grandchild.
She was also fortunate to have extended family in Canada and Ireland who will remember her as a special aunt with a quick wit and a big heart.
A private family memorial will be arranged shortly.
The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Post Inn Village for the care and compassion provided to Rosaleen in her final weeks.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Rosaleen Shepherd June 08 1925 May 12 2019..
