Obituary of Rodney Eugene Haight
Haight, Rodney Eugene, age 72 of Digby passed away in Digby General Hospital on May 29, 2019. Born in Hillgrove, he was the son of the late Eugene Ira and Velma (Cosman) Haight.
Rodney is survived by his children Dwyane (Pam) Haight of Digby and Velma (Marcel) Journeay of Nictaux; brothers Rustin (Tammy), Bruce (Cheryl); of the Marshall family; mother-in-law Lennie Marshall; Wills and Maxine, Ruth Romard, Nora and Elvis Amero; brother-in-law John Pulsifer; grandchildren Kayla (Louis), Kila (Aaron), Shelby (Joel), Nikolas, Alannah, Ivy and Marcel Rodney; great-grandchildren Isabella, Nevaeh, Liam, Lucas, Tyson and Eva; .
He was predeceased by his parents; wife Seta (Marshall); sister-in-law Thelma Marshall; brother-in-law Roland Romard; father-in-law Earle Marshall.
Thank you to the staff of Digby Hospital; Dr. Black and the entire nursing team for your effort and care while Dad was hospitalized.
Visitation will be held at the family home at 1790 Ridge Road, Hillgrove (B0V 1A0) on June 10 from 1-4 pm, and June 11 from 6-8 pm. A celebration of Rodney’s life will be held at South Range Christian Church on June 17 at 2:00 pm, reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the South Range Christian Church or the Bloomfield Methodist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
