1961-2019
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family at the
Prince County Hospital in Summerside, on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 of
Richard Franklin Corkum, B.Sc., FCPA, FCGA of Summerside,
aged 58 years. Born in Lunenburg, N.S. on March 28, 1961, he was the
son of the late Wallace and Ruby (Rhodenizer) Corkum.

Corkum. Brother of Roderick (Mylinda)
Corkum, Timberlea, NS, Blair Corkum (Sharlene Clark-Corkum),
Charlottetown and Anthony Corkum, Middle LaHave, NS and his friend
Cathy Creaser, Feltzen South, N.S.
Brother-in-law of Wayne (Natalie) Simmons, Charlottetown.
Uncle of Brent (Emilynn), Colin, Andrew and Devon
Simmons.
Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Kenneth
and Pauline (Moase) Simmons. Richard was a special godfather and
father figure to many.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington for
visitation on Saturday, May 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Sunday,
May 12 at Trinity United Church Summerside at 2 p.m.
Interment in People’s Cemetery Kensington. If so desired,
contributions may be made to Trinity United Church or the Kensington
People’s Cemetery Fund.
