After a long and courageous battle with depression, on Monday May 27, 2019 in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Laurel Hawthorne. Loving father of Amelia, and Amanda Hawthorne. Son of Maizie Hawthorne and the late Robert Hawthorne. Brother of Terry, Margaret (Clayton Eady) and Tim Hawthorne and the late Gary, Faye Pickering, Ronnie, Brian, and Murney Hawthorne. Brother – in – law of Jerome Ward, Chris Hawthorne, Garry Pickering.
He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Ray loved being a part of Big Brothers Northumberland, going hunting and riding his Harley with his friends.
Friends are invited to call at the Ross Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Port Hope on Monday June 3rd 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
