It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Patricia
Olive Scholte (Evans) of Fredericton at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital on May 24, 2019.
Born July 7, 1938 in London, England, Patricia (Pat) married
her Canadian Armed Forces sweetheart, Tom Scholte, in London and moved
to Canada in 1957.
Pat and Tom spent a few of their early years in Ontario
before settling first in Oromocto, then calling Fredericton
Pat will be dearly missed by her adoring husband Tom; two
sons, Robert of Greenwood, NS and Darrell of Los Angeles, CA; and
grandchildren Kylie, Ryan, Sebastian and Evelyn.
Pat was a loving spouse and mother, a kind and thoughtful
person with a great sense of humour.
Patricia’s wish was to be cremated, which took
place on May 26. There will be no formal funeral service, however the
family will be present at Bishop’s Funeral Home on
Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 1:00 pm til 2:00 pm for
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The
Kidney Foundation of Canada.
