Marion Joyce Goettler (nee Hunt)
of Palmerston passed away peacefully on January 6, 2019. Predeceased in 2009 by her beloved husband of 62 years, George Angus Goettler, and daughter Joan Marion Gething in 2017. Dear mother of Dorothy Goettler of Colpoy’s Bay, Fred Goettler (Elaine) of Oakville and George Goettler (Cathy) of Washago. Lovingly remembered by her son-in-law Francois Gething of Sooke, BC her four grand- daughters, three grandsons, two great-grandchildren and brother-in-law Gordon Goettler of Toronto, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Loved sister of the late Mildred McIntosh.
To Honour Marion’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Marion’s cremains were placed in a double urn with Angus’ for burial in Palmerston Cemetery. Please join the family at the Lions Den 160 Main Street Palmerston on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a casual afternoon of visiting and sharing memories.
