The family announces with sorrow his death on Monday April 29, 2019 at the Teck Pioneer Residence in Kirkland Lake at the age of 79 .
Dear husband of Donna (nee Niddery) of Porcupine. Loving father of Leonard Jr. (Irene) of Amherstburg, Dana Vaillancourt (Clem) of Porcupine and David (Julie) of Timmins. Dear grandfather of Jamie and Christopher Pigeon, Mariah Pigeon (Brent Clarke), Austin and Hailey Vaillancourt. Also survived by his sisters Theresa Bertolo (late Dino) of Timmins, Marjorie Natolino (Romeo) of Timmins and Donna Mae Sheculski (Ted) of Timmins and by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
After 34 years of service, Len retired as fire captain from Timmins Fire Department
Funeral service will be held on Friday May 3, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday May 2nd from 2-4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME 705-268-4488. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to Teck Pioneer Residence, the Good Samaritan Inn and Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
