Born and raised in Seeley’s Bay
Veteran of the Korean War
Peacefully, at the Carleton Place Hospital on Monday, April 22, 2019, at the age of 85. Dear husband of Caroline for 66 years.
Loving father of Wendy (Chris), Rodney (Natasha), and Kimberly (Dan). Predeceased by his daughter Lynda. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Will be missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. James was a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
A celebration of life will take place at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 1:00 p.m.
For those who wish, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
