The death of Herman Gallen of Jacquet River occurred April 29, 2019 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 90. Born in Lorne, he was the son of the late Ernest and Mary (Mallaley) Gallen.
Herman is survived by his sons Ernest (Monique) of Rimouski and Emery (Dawn) of Bathurst; daughter Dianna Legacy of Belledune; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; half sister Irene as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Eva (Carrier); brothers Charlie, Tommy, Wesley, Jimmy and Billy Gallen as well as his sisters Mildred, Edith, Leona, Dorina, and half brothers David, Crandall, Albert, Emery, Johnny and son in law Albert Legacy.
There will be no visitation. A graveside funeral service is to be held June 30, 2019 at the St. Maria Goretti Cemetery in Lorne at 11 am. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillans Funeral Home,Black Point.
