(Resident of Haliburton, Ontario)
Peacefully at home with his family by his side after a brave and long battle with Cancer, on Wednesday morning, May 8, 2019 in his 61st year. Cherished husband of Marlene Vieira (nee Saunders). Loving father of Matthew. Survived by his father Stephen and Margaret Vieira (predeceased). Dear brother of Tim and Stephen (Lionel) and son-in-law of Bernard (predeceased) and Joanne. Also lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Brent (Colleen). Glenn worked for Bell Canada for more than 35 years and was known for going the extra mile for his customers. He spent many years coaching minor hockey both in Brampton and then in Haliburton. Glenn was born in Scarborough, but lived most of his life in Brampton before moving to Haliburton in 2002 after being a cottager.
Visitation, Funeral Service & Reception
Friends are invited to call at LAKESIDE CHURCH 9 Park Street, Haliburton, Ontario on Saturday morning, May 11, 2019 from 11 o’clock until time of Funeral Service at 12 (Noon). Private interment Evergreen Cemetery, Haliburton. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services, Haliburton 4 C’s or Lakeside Church would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HALIBURTON COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario (705) 457-9209.
