G. Richard Naugler
Naugler, G. Richard, 55, Truro, passed away Wednesday, May
29, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Truro, he
was a beloved son of George and Ruth (Bennett) Naugler. Richard grew
up in Pictou County and later moved to Ontario where he worked for 34
years. He later moved back to Truro and went to work for Maritime
Truss, Truro.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a son Mark Nathan of
Ontario; daughters, Laura and Nicki and their mother Irene of Ontario;
brothers Gordon (Patti) of Winnipeg; Allen (Angie) of Salem Loop,
Pictou Co; sister Elizabeth (Mark) Blair of Truro; several aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents William and
Blanche Bennett; paternal grandparents Walter and Lucinda
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro , where visitation will be 7-9
Friday evening and where funeral service will take place on Saturday,
June 1st at 2 pm with a reception to follow in
the funeral home. Live webcasting will commence at 1:55 pm. Burial
will follow in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley. Donations in memory may be
made to the Palliative Care Unit of CEHHC, Truro.
