Obituary for
Everest Barnes
Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Health Science Centre on Thursday, May 16, 2019, Everest Barnes, of St. Alban’s.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy Barnes.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife of 50 years, Melita (nee Collier); brothers: John Jr. (Vera), Greg, Alfred (Aggie), Eric (Brenda), Don, Richard (Shelley); sisters: Amy (Patrick), Beatrice (Roger), Elaine (Steve), Daphney (John), and a large number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, an inside circle of other family members and friends.
At Everest’s request cremation has taken place.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl.
Interment will be held in St. Alban’s at a later date.
