St. Louis, Eva Lucy (nee Ammerata) Dec. 2nd, 1923 – May 16th, 2019 – it is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beautiful mother at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.
She was the loving and devoted mother to Cathy, Richard (Kelly) and her two beautiful fur babies Mya and Chloe. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Erminia Ammeratta, sister Theresa Stillin and godson Patrick Signorotti. Survived by sisters Mary Gosztyla (Henry – deceased), Rita Signorotti (Guido – deceased), Stella (Gerry Bonany) and nieces and nephews.
Mom’s working career started at the North Bay Nugget then took time off to raise her two children and returned to work at Beatty Printing where she later retired. Mom loved sports; especially the Toronto Blue Jays and the North Bay Battalions. She was a great cook and even better baker, making her Italian pastries.
Thanks to Dr. Oyeniran for his care and compassion towards our mother over the last 3 years. The staff on Palliative floor D3, her PSW’s Penny and Liisa who allowed her to stay in her home, Susan Woodman, her massage therapist, our dear close friend Liz, niece Cindy, long time neighbour Pierrette for their exceptional care and support given to Mom.
Cremation has taken place.
Donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice or Mother of Perpetual Help (cheques only) will be greatly appreciated. She will remain in our hearts forever.
