David J. McGuigan
1949-2019
On Friday,
May 31, 2019 at the Kings County Memorial Hospital the passing of
David John McGuigan occured with his faithful and loving wife of 48
years Doreen (Acorn) McGuigan by his side. Born in Montague October
16, 1949 he was the son of the late Philip and Christina (Doiron)
McGuigan. Besides his wife Doreen he will be greatly missed by his
loving son Scott (Anja) McGuigan; grandchildren Annika, Alex, Adriana,
Aaron; brothers and sisters Anita Vuozzo, William (Genevieve), Marie
(Wilfred) McCarthy; brothers-in-law Roger (Alice) Acorn, Larry (Joan)
Acorn, Allan (Valerie) Acorn. David was predeceased by brothers-in-law
Harry Vuozzo and Joey Acorn.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Wednesday, June
5th from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral Service to take place in the Funeral Home
Chapel on Thursday, June 6th at 3 pm. Interment to follow in the St.
Mary’s Parish Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to
Kings County Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit or PEI Council of
People with Disabilities.
