Brenda Lee Johnson
JOHNSON, Brenda Lee (Gordon) – of Conquerall Bank,
passed away suddenly on May 25, 2019, in the South Shore Regional
Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Liverpool, she was the daughter of the
late Bernt and Leila (Gardner) Gordon. She is survived by her husband,
Donald Christopher (Chris), her beloved cat, Jasmine, her sister,
Sylvia Stevens, brothers-in-law, David (Pat), Roger (Mary Lou), and
Gord, sister-in-law, Nancy (Ted Bennitz), and several nieces, nephews
and a wonderful community of friends. She was predeceased by her
parents, her Aunt, Marguerite Gardner, and, recently, her beloved cat,
Sophie. Brenda’s love of books took her to places she could only
imagine visiting. She was a vocalist with The Privateers who performed
in the Canadian Pavilion at Expo 70 in Osaka, Japan.
visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4th,
at 11:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of Brenda’s life at
1:30 p.m., both at the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville.
Reception to follow. A family committal will take place at a
later date. Memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Public
Library, Marg Hennigar Branch, or Hope For Wildlife. Arrangements are
under the direction of the R.A Corkum Funeral Home, 2719 Victoria
