It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carmelia Florence Wheeler announce her passing on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Nina Baldwin, Jody Davis (Bill); grandchildren: Tina Baldwin, Tanya Baldwin, Damian Baldwin (Krista), Abby Slovack (Ryan), Tyson Davis; great grandchildren: George and Brandon Finyanoes, Lauren Baldwin, John Baldwin, Hailey, Avery, Maryn Slovack; great great grandson: Ryder; her siblings Avril Gardner, Faye Davis (Paul), Wayne Ruth (Ann) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, her caregivers: Linda Wheeler, Linda McHugh, Kira Hackett. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Wheeler (1991); siblings: Sylvia O’Brien, Beulah Eddy, Audrey Hiscock, Mary Hann, Lorraine Brake, Glen Ruth, Cyril Ruth, Margaret Bader, Ralous Ruth, Goldie Ruth, and Gloria Ruth. A visitation will be held from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from the hours of 7-9pm and Sunday June 2, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 2:00pm from St. Ambrose Anglican Church in Johns Beach with Reverend Effie Organ officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the St. Ambrose Anglican Church Fund.
