Born on May 22, 1927, Archie left us in his 92nd year on May 3rd, 2019. Dedicated husband for 67 years to Betty (Elizabeth) Brown and Father to Gary (Sandra), Ray (Waren), Sandra (Donnie) and Brian (Phyllis). Special Poppa to Jessica, Mackenzie, Phylicia and Colin. Brother to Louis and Dorthy. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Leo, Juillette, Lucien, Antoinette, Nelson, Cecille, Elizabeth, Annette, Madeleine and Therese. Archie ran the Texaco service station in Huntingdon for many years and afterwards worked at H.A.P. He enjoyed traveling, looking after his gardens and spending time at the lake. Visitations will be held on Thursday June 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday June 14 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral at the chapel of the funeral home Thursday June 14 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Powerscourt Cemetery in Hinchinbrooke. Special thanks to the caring staff at the Huntingdon CHSLD, Residence La Riviera and Ormstown Barrie Memorial Hospital. Donations in memory of Archie can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #81 or the Ladie’s Auxiliary of the Huntingdon Hospital.
