Susan “Nancy”
Brown of Fredericton passed away peacefully at the DECH on Sunday,
April 28, 2019. Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of Mary (True)
Brown and the late Alvin “Brownie”
Brown.
Along with her mother Mary,
Nancy is survived by her sister Linda; brothers, Bob (Laura MacLean)
and Larry (Kim Long), all of Fredericton; four nieces, three
great-nephews and her beloved cat Tippy.
Nancy enjoyed a long and
successful career with the Federal Civil Service, where she made many
lifelong friendships.
The family would like to
thank Nancy’s long-time caregivers, Madelyn Mackillop and
Joanie Nason, both of whom provided Nancy with many years of care and
compassion as well as loving companionship.
The family will receive
visitors at BISHOP’S FUNERAL HOME, 540 Woodstock Road,
Fredericton on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM with a service
immediately following at 3:00
PM.
Interment of
Nancy’s ashes will take place at the Lower Lincoln Cemetery
following the service.
Remembrances may be made to
the MS Society of Atlantic Canada, Fredericton SPCA or a charity of
your choice.
