McLean, Shirley Dianne
passed away peacefully with family at her side at St. Andrew’s Terrace in Cambridge on Friday, April 26, 2019 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey McLean (2017). Loving mother of Frank Lisso (Cathy Gordon) and Scott Lisso. Daughter of the late Stanley and Annie Howell. Predeceased by her brother Orton Howell. Shirley worked for Shurley Dietrich in Galt, then Kondu Manufacturing Ltd. in Preston, and retired after she worked for over 30 years as a legal secretary for Pettitt and Schwarz Law Firm. She was a member of SWOSDA Square Dance Association, National Association for Federal Retirees, volunteer with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Wesley Church Choir for 30 Years and 4H Leader in Ayr. Shirley’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 and from 12:30-1:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, (519) 749-8467. Funeral Service in the chapel on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Private interment Mount View Cemetery in Cambridge. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
