It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel Leslie Hobbs announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on April 10th 2019 at the age of 78 years. Samuel was an avid hunter and fisherman who was happiest in the great outdoors. He leaves to mourn three daughters Kim (Glenn) in CBS, Paula in Black Duck Siding, Suzanne (Julian) in Toronto. Also leaving to mourn four grandchildren Aaron, Jason, Brendan, Devon, four great grandchildren, one brother Sid (Wendy) in St. Georges, one sister Linda collier in Stephenville and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Violet Hobbs, his wife Theresa Hobbs and his three brothers Gerald Hobbs, Brian Hobbs and Harry Hobbs. Visitation will take place from Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville on Saturday April 13th from 2-4 and 7-9. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
